Chicago punks Rise Against have signalled a return to Australia in July with their latest offering of high quality core, Endgame.

Chicago punks Rise Against have signalled a return to Australia in July with their latest offering of high quality core, Endgame.

After a sell-out tour across Australia in 2009 and a hit run on the Big Day Out roster Rise Against are coming back to do it again, but this time with crusty New York hardcore legends, Sick Of It All along to help with the sonic destruction.

Rise Against have been spitting vitriol since 1999 and their live shows are always crammed full of that relentless energy that seems to fill the punk world. And with an album covering the topics of the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill and Hurricane Katrina these boys are going to have a lot to say in their not-so-subtle way.

Festival Hall will be filled to the brim with mohawks and studs when Rise Against play there Thursday 21 July. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
