Is it just me or just Chad Smith really look like Will Ferrell? Huh, probably not important. Anway, announced through the bands official website, the Red Hot Chili Peppers latest release is dubbed I’m With You, and will be released on August 30, 2011.

The album has also been produced by Rick Rubin, the man who declined to work with the Chili’s on The Uplift Mofo Party Plan but then went on to produce Blood Sugar Sex Magik, By The Way and Stadium Arcadium. He’s also the man responsible for seminal albums from acts such as Slayer, The Mars Volta, Danzig,  Metallica, AC/DC, Weezer, Neil Diamond and Rage Against the Machine to name a few. No other information has been given, but let’s hope it’s better than, uhh, Hump De Bump.
