At the centre of the Queen Victoria Market Winter Wonderland will be a giant snow globe installation where visitors can step inside a swirling flurry of snow for picture-perfect moments with friends and family.

The Winter Night Market will feature overhead illuminated snowflake decorations shimmering in the night while roving hula hoop performers and stilt walkers bring extra sparkle to the sheds and laneways.

Each week, awe-inspiring ice sculptors will create frosty works of art live, surrounded by gently falling faux snow and wintry market cheer.

While the Night Market’s roaring fire pits will keep things toasty, a rotating weekly line-up of limited-edition food trucks will add heat of their own.

The 13 new traders coming to Queen Victoria Market will include Braz Oz with smoky Brazilian barbecue skewers, Chimnutz serving warm Hungarian chimney cakes, Bigger than Texas BBQ offering Texan-style slow-cooked meats, Churros Ole with fresh Spanish-style churros, Mr Baller delivering juicy meatball subs, El Chivi featuring Uruguayan steak sandwiches, and Tacos El Habanero with authentic Mexican tacos and quesadillas.

There will be a new pop-up bar tucked into the Winter Wonderland zone, serving warming tipples and winter mocktails, including a spiced hot milo for the kids.

For the school holidays, table reservations are back, with families able to secure their spot in the Winter Wonderland zone for tables of six on 2, 9 and 16 July only.

It’s the same buzzing Winter Night Market, just with a little more sparkle, snow and seasonal magic at Queen Victoria Market.
