Pixies have revealed plans for an Australian and New Zealand tour in November 2025.

The tour will feature two-night residencies in each city, offering unique performances on consecutive evenings. On the first night, the band will play their landmark albums Bossanova (1990) and Trompe Le Monde (1991) in full, followed by a second night with a cross-catalogue set, including tracks from their latest album, The Night the Zombies Came.

The announcement comes as the band continues to celebrate its legacy, 35 years after their groundbreaking Platinum-certified album Doolittle entered the UK Top Ten. Additionally, 2025 will mark 20 years since their celebrated reunion at Coachella. Pixies remain in a vibrant creative phase, with critics praising The Night the Zombies Came for its energy and relevance.

The Night the Zombies Came

The band’s tenth studio album, The Night the Zombies Came, has been met with critical acclaim. Described by MOJO as “thrillingly alive,” and by DIY as the work of “one of the most consistent, influential bands on the planet,” the album is a testament to the Pixies’ ongoing innovation and impact in the music world.

Their August performance at London’s All Points East was hailed as “raucous” by Rolling Stone UK, while their sold-out Glasgow Academy show was described as “a full-on head rush of classics” by the Scottish Sun. Pixies continue to demonstrate their relevance more than 35 years into their career.

Tickets for all shows go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, 26 November, at 1 pm local time. For full ticket details, visit Live Nation Australia or Live Nation New Zealand.
