A collaboration between Dior and the National Galley of Victoria, The House of Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture will bring together 140 of the greatest designs in the history of fashion, spanning from Christian Dior’s seminal spring 1947 ‘New Look’ collection to signature ball gowns and contemporary couture.
Showcasing works of founder Christian Dior, the exhibition also traces the company’s history and designs through the work of Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferre, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia-Chiuri.
As well as a vast collection of garments, Seventy Years of Haute Culture will also feature sketches, accessories, photographs and multimedia.
