Lifted from their upcoming full-length Uncanny Valley, Memorium is a majestic return to the dancefloor for the freshly resurgent synth purveyors. Never overreaching, frontman Vince Vendetta commanding baritone draws you in with the inflections of Bela Legosi’s Dracula. Percussive rave synths are on point, and the minimalist coda has an eerie undercurrent, sounding like a spaced-out Angelo Badalamenti relic.
