Holding Breath incorporates Merpire’s unique sound of pitch bending synths and an array of instruments to create an ode to all those who have suffered a broken heart.
Following her Telstra Road to Discovery win, Merpire spent time working on her music both in Australia and in the US where she performed at the Sounds Australia showcases at the Americana Festival and at renowned New York venue The Bitter End.
Holding Breath is taken from Merpire’s forthcoming EP and will be celebrated at launch shows in Sydney and Melbourne this July.
