Entries are now open for the country’s largest and funniest cultural festival.
After Sydney’s World’s Funniest Island comedy festival recently fell through, it’s still all systems go here in Melbourne and they’re gearing up for a big one for the 25th Birthday celebrationsof the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
From March 20 – April 24 the festival will happen at Trades Hall, Melbourne Town Hall, City Square, Fed Square, Yarra Precinct, The Arts Centre, The Spiegeltent and all of the in between as well.
The Melbourne Comedy Festival is one of the three largest Comedy Festivals in the world alongside Edinburgh and Montreal, and attracted more than 508,000 people this year.
There’s an online registration form awaiting you funny people if you’re looking to get involved. Registrations close at 5pm on Friday November 26.
