The rest of EP sadly lacks the same pace and energy, though it is still very powerful. The third track Untitled could make the manliest eyes water. The guitar and vocals are reminiscent of the late Jeff Buckley and at certain points, Bon Iver. It is a captivating and raw journey that will make you forget his talent show beginnings.
This humble EP is quite remarkable and a breath of fresh air in the Australian music industry, though you will have to be in the right mood to properly appreciate it. It is too deep for a summer afternoon but will go nicely with a quiet glass of wine in the evening.
