The dude from Marlow enunciates the words “always there” in a really weird way. It’s heaps distracting, especially considering how much it’s repeated throughout the track’s slow-burning buildup. Strange vocals aside, Always There soars like an emo-tinged Sweet Disposition – and it doesn’t make me as feel as sick as that prospect should probably make me feel. But still, it makes me feel a little bit sick.
