LOUD WOMEN Fest Australia returns to The Bergy Bandroom this December with a massive lineup.
LOUD WOMEN Fest Australia is returning to Melbourne for its second year this December, and they’ve just announced the incredible lineup.
After selling out its Melbourne debut in 2024, LOUD WOMEN Fest Australia is back with an even bigger lineup.
Founded by London-based feminist music organisation LOUD WOMEN, the festival is built around platforming women, trans and nonbinary musicians in punk, rock, indie and alternative scenes; a direct counter to the male-dominated lineups that still plague festival culture. This year expands to include a Sydney show on 7 December as well.

Melbourne’s lineup features international acts including Bitter Tits from the US, Vagina Dry from New Zealand, and I, Doris from the UK, with LOUD WOMEN founder Cassie Fox making the trip for the band’s first Australian appearance.
Local heavy-hitters round out the bill with Charlie Needs Braces, Ghost Mutt, Hail Mary Jane, Pelvis, R.U.B, Sacred, Second Idol, The Maggie Pills, Whip! and Whoroboros all taking the stage at The Bergy Bandroom.
LOUD WOMEN Fest Australia is co-organised by Soph from Melbourne band R.U.B and Kate from Sydney band Second Idol, both deeply embedded in their local music communities.
Operating as a non-profit and proudly trans-inclusive event, the festival follows in the footsteps of the UK organisation that’s been championing gender equality in music since 2015.
Past LOUD WOMEN alumni include Nova Twins, Lambrini Girls, Big Joanie, Dream Nails and Petrol Girls; all acts that have gone on to make serious waves internationally.
With a stacked lineup and a clear mission to shake up the status quo, LOUD WOMEN Fest Australia is shaping up as one of the most important events on the calendar for anyone who cares about diverse, community-driven music. Or, if you just want to hear some seriously great music.
