At the end of the video for California Boy, the first taste of hyper-prolific rapper Lil B’s first foray into rock, we see “LIL B HAS MADE HISTORY” emblazoned across our YouTube window. It’s true. It’s impossible to review Lil B in the context of anything else, he’s functioning in a world which disrupts all convention. I don’t know if California Boy is actually any good, but I can’t stop listening to it. Protect Lil B at all costs. Thank you Based God.
