Leftfield is coming back to our shores with their Leftism in its Entirety show which has been selling out venues across Europe. The Australian leg of the tour sees the band to Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle.

After releasing Leftism 22, a special reissue of their debut album Leftism, the band has been selling out shows and making festival appearances where they’ve been playing the record in full.Their recent shows have been compared to being in the best club ever. They are regarded as one of electronic music’s most crucial live acts.

The band was last in Australia in 2015. Don’t miss your chance to see the album played in its entirety when Leftfield return to Australia in February 2018. Tickets go on sale Wednesday December 6 (presale) and Friday December 8 (general sale).

Leftism was originally released in 1995 and remains a defining statement in dance music after it’s been nominated for a Mercury prize, and made in to the top ten greatest albums of all time as voted by readers of Q Magazine. The album created the opportunity for hits ‘Open Up’, ‘Original’ featuring Toni Halliday, and ‘Release the Pressure.’

Formed in 1989, Leftfield emerged publicly with ‘Not Forgotten’ in 1990, a song that established a new strain of British house and dominated UK clubs. They started the ball rolling on British dance music moving onto the stage and into the charts beside Orbital, Underworld and the Dust/Chemical Brothers.
