Lachlan Bryan and The Wildes are back on the road following two critically acclaimed (and ARIA topping) albums in 2021, followed by a European tour. Freya Josephine Hollick has been all over our coverage recently – she’s a real favourite among Melburnians – and she’ll be backed by Australian band member and guitarist extraordinaire Tommy Brooks, featuring songs from her long-awaited forthcoming album The Real World.

ARIA-nominated singer songwriter and visual artist, Sherry Rich has been mixing up a powerful musical brew of roots, country, folk and rock since 1985, immersed in the Australian and US music landscape in bands Cactus Fever, Girl Monstar, Sherry Rich & the Grievous Angels, The Mudcakes, The Rich Family and The Grapes. Sherry lived in Nashville for ten years collaborating with many song-writing legends (including Jim Lauderdale, Tammy Rogers, Amy Rigby, Buddy Miller, Walt Wilkins, and Paul Kelly).

Acclaimed songwriter and singer Sime Nugent will also be teaming up with multi-instrumentalist Shane Reilly (Lost Ragas) for this special show.

Sime has toured nationally and internationally throughout Australia, Europe and America and released more than a dozen albums with a range of bands in his 20 year career. Sime’s work under his own name; with indie folk duo Sweet Jean and three time ARIA nominated band The Wilson Pickers has received both critical and popular acclaim.

July 28: NoLess

What’s more, the following Thursday night will see an evening of engaging soul courtesy of NoLess. NoLess is the brainchild of Melbourne musician Aidan Ryan, return from a long hiatus with three Melbourne acts: soul/jazz/RnB outfit Good Luck Omen, Danika (Trio) and Yangos (DJ).

Supported by rhythm section members, Robbie Belchamber (Bass), Gene Du Vergier (Drums), Christy Wozitsky-Jones (Keys) and vocalists, Indigo King and Grace Robinson, NoLess’ debut EP released at the beginning of 2021 is the result of years of refining, arranging and performing those songs together as a group.
