The gloriously innovative King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are at it again.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have just dropped a new track and have asked their fans to craft their own music video or remix for it.
‘Automation’ – which comes after the release of earlier 2020 singles, ‘Honey’, ‘Some of Us’ and ‘Straws in the Wind’ – was revealed via the band’s Instagram page, alongside a DIY video that pans across the band’s website.
“‘AUTOMATION’ IS THE NEW SONG,” the Instagram caption says. “Make your own music video. Make your own remix. All relevant files are housed at the link in bio.”
Follow the link in the bio and you are taken to the band’s website depicted in the Instagram post. From here, King Gizz have provided us instructions under the headings, ‘Raw video footage’ and ‘Audio stems’.
Beneath each of these are directions on how to either create your own music video for ‘Automation’ or record your own remix of the track. To help you get something together, King Gizz have already provided the raw video files and audio stem files for you.
