In an interview on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker has given an indication as to when we can expect some new music from the psychedelic outfit.
Speaking to the show’s host, Matt Wilkinson, Parker said he would like some new material to add to the band’s live setlists, adding that he hopes to release a new album within the next year.
“I’d be really disappointed if there wasn’t something out by then,” said Parker when asked if we could expect new music by this time next year. “I mean, I love playing the songs live, I love playing current songs, I love playing Lonerism songs and everything but I think I’m ready to play some other songs live.”
