Melbourne producer Japanese Wallpaper delicately crafts a chiming guitar-led wash of intoxicating down-tempo dream pop. Its more in line with the organic arrangements of Wintercoats than the more electronic-inclined works spreading forth from Sydney in the past decade. Brissy vocalist Wafia is a perfect fit, so hopefully the team-up isn’t a mere one-off.
