Hip Hop Sistas Unite

Participants are invinted to attend a weekly series of free hip hop/rap songwriting workshops hosted by The Hip Hop Sistas. The workshop will give participants the chance to learn how to rhyme as well as an opportunity to have original work recorded.

The workshops will unfold over a series of two months and will include intensive skills development and songwriting workshops. Aspiring rappers will be educated about their voice and the processes involved in recording their rhymes and beats.

These work shops are open to all young female MCs or rappers who wish to bust a rhyme about their cultural identity and experiences in the City of Melbourne and Australia. Not only will participants be given the chance to develop skills that will put the likes of Eminem to shame but they will have their track recorded with a mentor-producer at a local studio for the Hip Hop Sistas Compilation CD.

To get involved all you need to do is register online via www.thepush.com.au by Thursday May 12.
