Sydney punk band Hellions have announced a trifecta of intimate album launch shows on the east coast, ahead of the release of their hotly anticipated fourth album Rue on October 19th. To heighten the Hellions fever, the band have also dropped a brand new video for their track ‘Smile’, a searing look at technological isolation.
Rue is the follow-up to 2016’s Opera Oblivia, and will see release on an exclusive limited edition vinyl for their upcoming tour. In a press release, Hellions say their new record concerns“the co-existence of a Jekyll and Hyde operating within a person at any one time” and is divided into ‘pessimistic’ and ‘humanitarian’ sides of life. Most importantly, they also promise even more seismic riffs and beautiful melodies.
