Stonefist brutalises from the get go, blasting with stuttering, awesome noise, before clearing up into a really fucking spacious exploration of pop melody. It’s exactly how a new HEALTH song should sound, pushing themselves in a new direction while retaining their core indecency. It’s evolution, and it sounds fantastic. Their new album, the first proper full-length since 2009’s In Colour, could well be something special.
