Alongside his band featuring acclaimed Australian jazz soloists, Harry James Angus performs at Basement Discs on Saturday April 21. Playing tracks from his latest album, tales of Greek mythology will be brought to life in the Melbourne home of roots-based music.
Announcing a limited-edition vinyl release, his brand-new album Struggle with Glory will be available on April 21 as a celebration of Record Store Day.
“This record was recorded live,” says James Angus. “No headphones, just old-fashioned craftwork. The type of recording that I listen to on my record player; rich, warm, fuzzy.”
Recently Harry James Angus has played festivals around the country and just been announced to play Melbourne International Jazz Festival on June 5.
