Coinciding with the Gallipoli centenary, the contemporary opera tells the story of a young birdwatcher from Queensland who is thrust into the Western Front during World War II. Composed by Elliot Gyrger and directed by Imara Savage, the opera will be performed with musicians from the Melbourne Conservatorium of New Music Ensemble.
