First Nations music, art and dance festival Share the Spirit will return to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on January 26 - 'Survival Day' - as part of Live at the Bowl.
The celebration of First Nations culture is presented by Songlines Aboriginal Music, and is now entering its second year as part of Live at the Bowl.
In addition to acting as an important cultural gathering for the communities it represents, it doubles as a political statement on January 26, encouraging awareness of the severe impact Australian society has had on its Indigenous peoples.

“Share the Spirit is the illumination of love and life that frees the Spirit,” said co-CEO of Songlines Robbie Bundle.
This year includes performances from Christine Anu, Dan Sultan, Kutcha Edwards, Philly, Bumpy, Bricky B, Miss Hood and Soju Gang.
The festival draws upon the huge variety of First Nations artistic mediums, featuring a jam-packed program of music, dance, arts, the return of market stalls and various cultural activities for all ages.
The annual festival was created in 2003 by Songlines, with the added purposes of raising awareness of First Nations culture and advancing their interests in the political conversation. Share the Spirit runs from 11am – 6pm and is a free, non-ticketed family-friendly event that is drug and alcohol free.
As with every Songlines event, all people are invited to attend and a safe space is offered for all. Live at the Bowl is an open-air performance series at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl running from January – April 2022.
