With blazing hooks and soaring three part harmonies Eddie & the Fast Boys are a three piece band made up of Ed Fairlie, Brendan Tsui and Lachlan O’Kane. Joining them is comedian and musician, Jude Perl, for a show that’s set to be as humorous as it is poignant.

Eddie & the Fast Boys soars with Edward Fairlie at the helm, a performer, composer and arranger of great versatility. A prominent trumpet player, he’s recorded with many noteworthy artists including Julia Stone and Gotye. For five years, he taught in the Interactive Composition stream at the University of Melbourne.

Joining the trio is Jude Perl, fresh off her hugely successful Comedy Festival show, this comedian and singer-songwriter’s show is perfect for those who like their songs clever, candid and catchy as hell. An accomplished musician, she was one of 10 finalists in the prestigious National Jazz Awards at the Wangaratta Jazz Festival. Her first EP 3am which featured her debut single ‘Girls & Boys’ received regular airplay on commercial radio all over Australia – a huge achievement for an independent artist. She has also appeared as a leading role in Let’s Get It On: The Life & Music of Marvin Gaye at Melbourne’s own Athenaeum Theatre.
