Jack Jones is coming to Transit Bar for an unmissable, intimate and close-up live music event.

Catch this intimate evening with one of Australia’s most beloved performers – Irwin Thomas, known professionally as Jack Jones, the singer and guitarist of the 90s rock band Southern Sons. A two times Platinum, eight times Gold and APRA award winning singer and songwriter, Jack Jones is appearing at Transit Bar on July 14 for an up-close live performance.

As the guitarist and singer of Southern Sons, known for their Australian top ten hits ‘Heart in Danger’, ‘Hold Me in Your Arms’ and ‘You Were There’, Jones is respected as an iconic musician in Australian music history. He’s also been involved in the bands Electric Mary, She Said Yes and Ahmet Zappa. With a vocal ability praised by fans and musical peers alike, he’s worked alongside musicians such as Guy Sabastian, John Farnham, Glen Shorrock (Little River Band), Tina Arena, Tommy Emmanuel, Rick Price, Merryl Bainbridge, Graham Goble (Little River Band) and countless others.

He’ll be appearing on the rooftop at Transit Bar in Federation Square. Enjoy city views during this intimate and up-and-close performance – you can get dinner and a show for $120 per person, which includes a three course meal at Taxi Kitchen before the show as well as premium reserved seating. General admission is $50 plus booking fee.
