DZ Deathray’s latest album Bloody Lovely dropped today and the title is certainly fitting for not only the album but the news that has come with it. Following the recent announcement that the duo will be celebrating the release with some specialty tinnies at their Bloody Lovely pop-up bars in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, they’ve also dropped some more news today, revealing they’ll be heading on a whopping nine date Aussie tour this May.
Known for their thrashing, high-energy performances, this tour is a great chance to hear DZ Deathrays’ new tracks like ‘Shred For Summer’ which came in at a cool #67 in this year’s Hottest 100, as well as ‘Total Meltdown’ and ‘Bad Influence’. Tickets are on sale from 9am Monday, so be prepared because they’re bound to get gobbled up quick.
