The competition will kick off with a series of heats and workshops across the country, culminating in a national final and showcase during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. In addition to performing, entrants will take part in 2 workshops hosted by some of Australia’s best comedians who will offer tips and advice on how to win the competition’s $2,000 cash prize. For those unsure about participating, the Footscray Community Arts Centre will host a free workshop on Saturday December 14, complete with a workshop for kids.
