Courtney Barnett has established herself as one of the forces behind the contemporary Australian music scene. As if she knew we still couldn’t get enough, Barnett has dropped a never-before-heard track, ‘Small Talk’.
‘Small Talk’ was performed during the development of her most recent album, Tell Me How You Really Feel, released in May. The unreleased single offers a soulful look into what tracks just didn’t make the cut for her critically acclaimed new record. It was revealed yesterday Tell Me How You Really Feel has been nominated for two ARIA awards.
Having just completed an Australian tour, Barnett has returned to the US and Europe to share her music on the other side of the globe. Aussie fans will also be able to catch Barnett live at a bunch of festivals, including Queenscliff Music Festival and Laneway Festival.
