Resist Records have announced a national tour for Citizen to take place in April 2015. Pegged as one of underground rock’s most promising bands, and signed to Run For Cover, the band have been touring constantly since their Youth LP and will arrive in Melbourne for the first time on Monday April 20 to play at The Reverence. There’ll also be an all ages show Tuesday April 21. Tickets available from Friday December 19.
Frank Turner will release a book titled The Road Beneath My Feet and he wants you to contribute. If you have memories and mementos from the first Frank Turner show you saw, send them into [email protected] by Friday January 2 and you might get it immortalised in the fan edition of the book. Don’t forget FT is touring with The Sleeping Souls next year, playing The Corner Hotel on Monday April 12.

The I’d Rather Be Giggin Tour in 2015 is looking like one of the summer’s best and will see Break Even, Hopeless, Endless Heights and Post Blue hit the road together. You can catch the chaos at The Reverence on Saturday February 28 or if you prefer an all ages vibe then head to the final date of the tour, the Phoenix Youth Centre on Sunday March 1. CJ Ramone dropped his new album Last Chance To Dance on Fat Wrek Chords last month and he’s now arranged an Aussie tour to play songs of the album and bang out some Ramones classics. His band will include Dan Root from The Adolescents and Pete Soso from Street Dogs and they’re visiting all major capital cities on their Aussie jaunt. Check it out at The Reverence Hotel on Saturday February 14 or The Bendigo Hotel on Sunday February 15.
Soundgarden have announce some big ol’ sideshows to compliment their upcoming Soundwave performances. Melbournians can witness them at Festival Hall on Tuesday February 24.
