Originally set for release Friday August 24, Pope Innocent X will now be out Friday October 12. Blackman also had to cancel an album preview show at the Corner Hotel back in July due to a bought of tonsillitis, though ensures there will be new dates announced soon, “I really want to share these songs with you live before we put the record out so for those of you who have pre-ordered my new album please be aware that we have shifted it a wee bit back to October 2012,” Blackman explained.
With the settling of a release date, Blackman has also released the single and video from the album, Mercy Killer.
