This “psychedelic ethnicalypse quartet” from New Zealand features a female lead who raps and sings over a heavy stoner bass riff. The atmosphere is kind of M.I.A. meets Tea Party, which would be reasonably awesome if the chorus wasn’t such awful hippy nonsense. “I know you told a lie, ’cause I can see it with my third eye,” she warbles. Bit of a conversation stopper, that one.
