Prost!

Don your Dirndl, pull up your Lederhosen and celebrate Bavarian-style at Australia’s biggest Oktoberfest celebration, Oktoberfest in the Gardens, returning to Melbourne’s own Catani Gardens. Revel in a day of festivities, fun, and frothies on October 21, as you celebrate Bavarian culture with a Steiner of beer, or two, or three, or four.

Oktoberfest in the Garden

  • September 23 – Pinky Flat, Adelaide
  • September 30 – The Station, Newcastle
  • September 30 – Broadwater Parklands, Gold Coast
  • October 7 – Langley Park, Perth
  • October 14 – Brisbane Showgrounds, Brisbane
  • October 21 – Catani Gardens, Melbourne
  • October 28 – The Domain, Sydney

Stay up to date with what’s happening in and around Melbourne here.

This year, Oktoberfest in the Gardens is partnering with City of Port Phillip, allowing them to host the event for the first time in the picturesque Catani Gardens. Overlooking the seaside, this outdoor venue is the perfect backdrop for a day of beer and merriment.

There are also exclusive VIP Access Passes; with perks like a private bar, dedicated seating areas, weather cover, and more, it’s the ultimate way to party in comfort and style.

No Oktoberfest is complete without the right attire. Rock your best Lederhosen or Dirndl, which you can rent from Oktoberfest in the Garden’s website. They’re offering a heap of discounts and free shipping on orders over $150.

But there’s much more to Oktoberfest in the Gardens than just Beer Halls. Embrace the carnival atmosphere with multiple stages of live entertainment, DJs, thrill rides, roving performers, competitions, sideshow alley, silent disco, and even a Berghain inspired Rave Cave.

Of course, the highlight of any Oktoberfest is the food, and they won’t disappoint. Savour the best in authentic German delicacies like bratwurst and wash it down with a wide range of German beers, wines, and ciders.

It all goes down on October 21 at Catani Gardens. For more information, head here.
