Perth singer-songwriter Dan Cribb, of Dan Cribb & The Isolated, has come up with an absolute doozy — a medley of classic cuts from The Simpsons as performed by a bunch of Australia’s best in music.
The seven-minute tribute — coined the ‘Worst Tribute Ever’ — features 49 special guests, and they’re some of the hottest names in Australian music. Ranging from Luca Brasi’s Tyler Richardson, Polish Club’s David Novak, Jen Boyce from Ball Park Music, Shane Parsons from DZ Deathrays and Declan Melia from British India to Guy Sebastian, Ecca Vandal, L-FRESH The LION, Montaigne and Spiderbait’s Kram, it’s the kind of mash-up dreams are made of.
The pop punk-infused tribute features 33 cuts from across the acclaimed TV series and comes complete with Matt Groening-esque cartoons of the guests.
