As part of the tour, Aunty Donna will venture from Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Wednesday October 6 and Thursday October 7, to Canberra’s The Playhouse on Saturday October 9 and Sunday October 10, before jumping across the country to Perth for a date on Tuesday October 13.

Then it’s onto Adelaide and Sydney before Aunty Donna roll into Arts Centre Melbourne’s Playhouse across five shows from Tuesday November 2 until Saturday November 6. Their final stop on their Magical Dead Cat tour will be Hobart’s Theatre Royal on Friday November 12.

“When the Magical Dead Cat demanded we participate in this incredible tour of Australia, a tour showcasing brand new hilarious comedy and some fan favourite bits from our recent world-shaking Netflix series, we were initially hesitant. It seemed we would provide the bulk of the entertainment whilst the Magical Dead Cat would merely bring some coughed up fur balls,” the Aunty Donna boys say of the tour.

“We raised our concerns with the Magical Dead Cat and it offered to sweeten the deal by ending each show with a special surprise web slinging guest whose name rhymes with Glider Man. Desperate to meet this special surprise guest, we immediately said yes.”

Oddballs aside, Aunty Donna have become one of Australia’s most respected sketch comedy groups since they exploded on the scene in 2012, touring the globe multiple times and winning awards in the process. Their YouTube channel has garnered 84 million views across the trip, alongside more than 453,000 subscribers.

These shows are not-to-be-missed.

Aunty Donna come to Arts Centre Melbourne’s Playhouse Theatre from Tuesday November 2 until Saturday November 6. Tix on sale here from Thursday June 17.
