Only 400 pairs of these black beauties are landing in Australia next month.
Audio-Technica is releasing the ATH-M50x ENSO headphones, a limited edition take on their classic M50x studio cans that pays homage to the original all-black design.
The new model features custom engravings on the earcups and headband inspired by sound waves and the brushstrokes found in Japanese ink paintings of the enso circle, a symbol in zen art representing the cyclical nature of life.

With only 5,000 pairs available worldwide and just 400 allocated to Australia, the ATH-M50x ENSO headphones are dropping exclusively at JB Hi-Fi from 3 November for $349.
The headphones maintain all the technical specs that made the M50x a studio staple, including 45mm large-aperture drivers with copper-clad aluminium wire voice coils, plush sound isolation pads, and an over-ear design that delivers studio-quality sound with clarity across an extended frequency range and accurate bass response. The earcups swivel 90 degrees for one-ear monitoring and fold flat for portability. Each pair comes with a unique serial number etched into the design, and 500 randomly selected boxes worldwide contain a postcard entitling the buyer to an exclusive ENSO accessories kit with a headphone stand and carry case.
The package includes a protective carrying pouch, a 6.3mm screw-on adaptor, and three interchangeable cables: a detachable 1.2m to 3m coiled cable, a detachable 3m straight cable, and a detachable 1.2m straight cable.
