Co-written by Mick Thomas, This Haunting is a jaunty rock song sung from the perspective of an elderly woman who feels haunted by the ghost of her dead husband. The tune is rough and peppered with horns, a blaring and sloppy afternoon pub music sound that is incongruous with the narrative. Way too blokey and casual a tone for a song about poltergeists and mariticide.
