Melbourne quartet I, A Man release The Scenic Route ahead of their July tour. The song is deceptively simple, built around twin guitar riffs and a muted bass line, and Daniel Moss’ wandering, sometimes overly-earnest vocal. The texture builds as the song progresses, but the two-line hook remains spare and effective. Very solid songwriting.
