ACMI To Screen Stations of the Elevated and Nas: Time is Illmatic

Considered one of the earliest filmed documentaries on graffiti, Stations of the Elevated captures the rhythms and hues of New York soundtracked by the music of Charles Mingus. The film has rarely been viewed outside of its premiere at the 1981 New York Film Festival, giving Australians the exclusive chance to see it in theatres.

Then, viewers will make the trip over to Queensbridge, New York for Nas: Time is Illmatic, the widely praised documentary on the making of the rapper’s seminal album.
