East Brunswick Village's vintage clothing market is back for round two on 26 July, with more than 40 stalls of pre-loved treasure.
Rummagers, thrifters and coat-hoarders, clear your calendar: East Brunswick Village’s vintage clothing market is back on 26 July.
Billed as back by popular demand, the East Brunswick Village vintage clothing market made its debut in February and drew a big turnout, so the follow-up has been sized up. More than 40 stalls will fill the site this time, and the racks run well past clothing. Alongside vintage and second-hand fashion, expect fur and woollen coats, statement accessories, retro homewares, vinyl records, collectibles and a spread of one-off pieces with a bit of history behind them.

There’s more than op-shopping to keep you busy across the day. Hagens Organics is cooking a chicken, truffle and parmesan sausage dressed with Dijon butter, truffle aioli and crispy chicken skin, and freshly shaved truffle can be added on top for an extra $10. Dodam is handling the sweet end with Korean-style waffles filled with whipped cream and apple jam, one of Korea’s most popular street snacks. Between them, that’s lunch and dessert sorted without leaving the market.
Portrait photographer Yuji Ohnishi will be on hand shooting high-res instant portraits on a vintage large-format 4×5 film camera, so you can walk away with a keepsake as well as a haul of clothes. Music comes from Skylab Radio’s Folarin Joseph, who’ll dig through his own vinyl collection across the five-hour session, keeping the browsing soundtracked from open to close.
East Brunswick Village sits at 131 Nicholson St, Brunswick East, and it’s an easy one to reach. The route 96 tram stops out front, there’s 90 minutes of free parking beneath Coles, and the whole site is wheelchair accessible and dog friendly. Shopping second-hand also keeps it low-waste, so it doubles as a way to refresh a wardrobe without buying anything new off the rack.
