Taste of Love Tantra Festival is bringing its first-ever Melbourne edition to the city.
Tantra is hitting Melbourne for the first time, and the city’s been waiting over a decade for it.
Taste of Love Tantra Festival Melbourne is arriving in the city for the very first time this June, and if you’ve been quietly curious about embodiment, conscious connection, or just genuine human interaction that doesn’t involve a screen, this one’s for you.
Founder Marion Ellyard has spent over 12 years building Taste of Love into a beloved institution across Byron Bay and Queensland, drawing hundreds of people through events centred on movement, music, intimacy, and transformational experience.
Now, after years of interstate attendees asking when Melbourne would get its turn, the answer is finally here.

The three-day festival runs from 12–14 June at Second Story Studios, bringing together facilitators, artists, therapists, performers, musicians, and space holders from across the country.
Over 30 workshops, performances, and immersive experiences make up the program, spanning conscious touch, meditation, authentic relating, tantra, conscious kink, partner practices, and live evening temple spaces.
The festival is deliberately designed to be accessible; even if you’ve never done anything like this before, the structure is built so that newcomers can engage entirely at their own pace without feeling pushed or overwhelmed.
Some attendees come solo, some with partners, and plenty arrive simply wanting to meet people in a way that feels a little more real than the usual options.
Taste of Love has built a strong reputation for its ethics framework, trauma-aware facilitation, and genuine focus on consent, communication, and nervous system safety. Those principles carry directly into the Melbourne edition.
