Premiere: Blonde Revolver deliver a punchy punk powerslam with their debut EP

The five-track EP is out now.

Off the back of their recently released singles ‘Red Ruby’ and ‘Power Play’, Melbourne punk powerhouse Blonde Revolver have unleashed their debut EP.

The self-titled EP is made up of five, punchy punk tracks written during Melbourne’s 2020 lockdowns.

Keep up with the latest music interviews, news and reviews here.

Comprising members of Future Suck, Carpet Burn, Body Maintenance, Delivery and Gutter Girls, Blonde Revolver was originally intended to be a Blondie cover band, but instead developed into a punk supergroup.

The six-piece has since become renowned for their live shows loaded with wiry guitar chords, walls of sound, buzzing synths and anthemic gang vocals, and it’s safe to say their debut EP is highly anticipated.

The EP’s five original tracks are complimented by a bonus online-only cover of The Urinals’ ‘I’m A Bug’. If hard-copy is more your style, the band have a limited run of 7″ vinyls of the EP up for grabs on their Bandcamp.

Blonde Revolver aim to launch the EP at Northcote Social Club on Friday September 10, depending on Melbourne’s COVID-19 restrictions, with support from Shove and Imperial Leather.
