So many forward slashes. Melbourne dub pop duo Standish/Carlyon get waist-deep in ’80s electro funk for their debut single, taken from the forthcoming album Deleted Scenes. Nono/Yoyo has the same lava-like pace and Campari and Wayfarers meets 10CC hyper Yacht Rock aesthetic as the Gayngs record. Like the Gayngs record, it goes way too far, and is therefore kind of brilliant.
