Local lads The Ocean Party have recorded an indie pop tune so laid back it’s almost lounge. Unfortunately, the instrumentation is a little plodding and the vocals – vaguely reminiscent of Ollie Brown and The Art Of Fighting – sound kind of dispirited. The could be quite atmospheric, played live, but the single is pale and flat. Chronic fatigue in song form.
