Sydney quartet Tin Sparrow sounds a hell of a lot like Boy & Bear on Hector Myola, which is awkward. They have rumbling Old West harmonies in the chorus, a galloping rhythm, twanging country guitar – all the same, very distinctive elements as their successful Sydney compatriots, without quite matching the Boy & Bear’s song craft. I mean maybe, conceivably, this song has been kicking around since long before With Emperor Antartica came out, but to release it as a single at this point seems a little self-defeating.
