Our band is called Nine Sons Of Dan. We’re from the Gold Coast, my name is Flakey – I play drums and do the sequencing for the band.
What do you reckon people will say you sound like?
We have trouble finding common comparisons. Maybe people are too drunk when they see us. Our singer is from California, so mix that with maybe a bit of Gyroscope? And you have us!
What do you love about making music?
The parties after the music making.
What do you hate about the music industry?
I’m just stoked there is one. Not ready to complain yet.
If you could travel back in time and show one of your musical heroes your stuff, who would it be and why?
Me personally? I would show John Bonham the roll I stole from Moby Dick before he actually wrote it. And say it was mine. Turn his shit upside down.
What can a punter expect from your live show?
Severe rocking out!

We have our debut EP, Landslide. 5 tracks of tang!

The gig is Friday August 12 at Revolver Upstairs with Ikarii, My Lasting Reply, and Futures Now.
