The Freedom to express ourselves and have creative flexibility.
What do you hate about the music industry?
Being poooooooorrrrrr.
What can a punter expect from your live show?
Punters can expect peaceful rivers and impetuous rapids set to a sarcastic tone of bad dance moves and injurious wit.
How long have you been gigging and writing?
Well the band has been around for YEAAARRRRSSSSSS but we’ve lost and picked up a few new members along the way. I’d have to say that we’re pretty much a brand new band. This year was the first year that we all worked together on the band. I think it’s the best we’ve sounded. Everything just fits and I think it shows in our music and performance.
What inspires or has influenced your music the most?
Modest Mouse, Radiohead and Bright Eyes are some of our musical influences. But we all have different taste in bands so a combination of different styles and genres affects our songwriting. It’s really hard to pinpoint it to one or two things. Otherwise the general things that inspires lyrics…. Life experiences.
When’s the gig and with who?
We have a show this Sunday December 22 at The Grace Darling with our buds Beloved Elks and Zombie Psychologist.
