What do you reckon people will say you sound like?
Many folk have said “Gee you sound like Renee Geyer & Tina Turner”. Renee was the inspiration behind me singing Its A Man’s World into my hairdryer in the ’70s so I’m very humbled.
What do you love about making music?
The head space/energy and family tradition.
What do you hate about the music industry?
The assumption from the industry in general that it‟s so damn glorified and too many amazing artists are suffering in silence today as they gave 100% and didn’t look at Plan B for their health/financial future. Thank God Support Act Limited and Entertainment Assist are here for those who need a hand.
If you could travel back in time and show one of your musical heroes your stuff, who would it be and why?
Bette Midler, I did a Divine Madness tribute to her life and songs. Trash with Flash from the serious to the hilarious. This show is an M rating due to mild vulgarity. I got away with it…..Bette and I would get along swimmingly
What can a punter expect from your live show?
High energy rock chick stuff with a bunch of amazing band members. Jerome Smith [bass] Chris Darkie Wilson [keys], Richie Mayer [drums] and Mark Tonelli [guitar]. They all sing, too. Pinch me… I’m livin’ the dream!
What’ve you got to sell CD-wise?
Journey CD. Big And Horny Big Band Warts n All and The Vanilla Supremes.

Hell yeah. Thank you Mark Walker and Darkie for writing, financing and producing this album and I’m eternally grateful to my brothers Peter, Shane and John Laffy and Terry who took on the name Holden as a surname in his performing years. RIP Terry, Pete and John.
