Tell us about trivia at the Met. We offer traditional pen and paper pub trivia, no screens, no special gadgets and mixed rounds of questions with no set theme to each round. After taking a year off, we relaunched our trivia night in April with great success.
Who’s the host? Our trivia night is hosted by Melbourne-based comedian, writer and entertainer Nick Caddaye who recently graced the 2017 Melbourne International Comedy Festival with his show He Didn’t Make It. He also hosted Late Night Letters and Numbers, adding a hysterical spin to the favourite SBS game show.
What prizes are on offer? We offer food and beverage vouchers for first, second and third place on top of chances to win cocktails, jugs of beer and bottles of wine throughout the night. There’s also a cash jackpot round of three questions that increases $25 for every week it’s not won.
What drinks specials can I get on the night? We’ve got $12 espresso martinis and $8 selected craft beer pints all night as well as $5 basic spirits from 5pm till 7pm.
What food is dished up on trivia night? Our menu sprawls wood-fired pizza and pasta, chargrilled steaks, salads as well as chicken parma and burger options.
