Does your trivia have a specific theme or genre? Our trivia doesn’t have a specific theme. It’s a fun mix of general knowledge and current events with extra games and challenges thrown in to keep teams on their toes. There are two rounds of 20 questions including pictures, audio, cryptic clues and plenty of banter plus pre-bookings get a free jug on arrival.
Who hosts your night, and what are they like? Question One run our trivia night. They use hosts who prioritise fun and entertainment, most of whom also work as comedians or performers.
What prizes can people win? We give away jugs of beer and cider each round for spot prizes and challenges. The winning team gets a $50 voucher and second place gets bottle of plonk.
Does your venue have any food or drink specials on offer during the night? Our happy hour runs from 4pm – 7pm, with all drinks $6, including our extensive back bar, and we have $10 parmas all day.
Tell us some other fun stuff about your night. The half time paper plane challenge is a crowd favourite along with the ‘impromptu origami’ round which can get very creative, in more ways than one. We’ve been with Question One for three months now and it’s getting busier each week. Mobile phone use is certainly discouraged unless you’re checking Tinder, in which case a match is applauded.
