To celebrate their big win at the Great Australian Beer Spectapular (GABS), Mountain Culture is giving away four beer prizes.
It’s no secret that Australia is home to a ton of delicious craft beers. But topping the list, for the second year in a row, is Mountain Culture‘s Status Quo.
Originally designed to be a hazy pale ale, the beer evolved to pack an even bigger punch, with juicy, bold flavours the look of a New England IPA. It’s a beer beloved by everyone, from casual sippers to brewing fanatics, which is why it was voted the #1 craft beer in Australia at GABS 2022 and 2023.
“When the bar manager started saying ‘It’s like crack! People are coming in and planning trying five or six of our beers, and I give them this one and they just stay on that all day,’ we kinda knew we were onto something,” says the brand. “The duality of it being a flavour bomb but drinkable makes it a favourite not just at the pub but wherever.”
To spread the buzz, Mountain Culture is giving Beat Readers the chance to win one of four beer packages. The grand prize includes one case of Status Quo, one case of APL – a crisp, light and refreshing lager – and a Mountain Culture merch pack including a T-shirt and socks.
Three runner-ups will take home a mixed case of Mountain Culture’s Status Quo and APL. Brewed in the mountains, APL is the newest addition to the brand’s core range and the favourite choice among the brewery staff. We wouldn’t be surprised if it was soon snatching up awards in the footsteps of its older brother.
